•2002 Winner of the 'New Generation’ - competition of the ‘Jazz an der Donau Festival’ (Straubing, Bavaria) and Bavarian Broadcasting with the band project ‘Die Firma Happy Madness’ for the originality of compositions
•2004 The Munich Richard-Strauss-Foundation Scholarship awarded for “… remarkable compositional and pianistic creativity’.“
•2006 The composition ‚Kadale Modenz’ interpreted by the‚Helmut Sinz Quartet’, was among the final 10 compositions chosen by the judges of the internationally famous Thelonious Monk BMI Composers Competition 2006’ , Washington D.C.
